Growing up in Kansas, I always knew I wanted to be a singer. I have pursued this passion of music for my entire life and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share this magical art form with others. As a music educator, I believe everybody has a voice. That voice may be heard in the melody of a song, the pattern of a drum, the cadence of a rap, or the strumming of a guitar. Education Through Music- Colorado has provided me with the support to ensure every human that enters our classroom is allowed to express themselves in a musical way that feels genuine to themselves. I am proud, inspired, and driven by my school community and I am determined to help others musically communicate what they need to say, what they want to say, and what deserves to be heard.
