Jennifer Horn is very excited to be back in the classroom again full-time teaching elementary and middle school music at Boston P-8 in Aurora. Jennifer is a former High School Music Director at Fairfield College Preparatory School at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT where she taught Concert Band, Symphonic Winds, Jazz Band, Choir and Music Appreciation. While at Prep she had the honor of conducting the Band, Jazz Band and Choir at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Woolsey Hall at Yale University and Magic Music Days at Walt Disney World. Jennifer was also an elementary school music teach at Woodrow Wilson Academy where she taught general music grades K-6 and started an instrumental and vocal music program. She also substituted in clarinet instruction during multiple sessions for the Colorado Honor Band. She is also an active performer with the Colorado Wind Ensemble and has been with the ensemble since 2009. Jennifer received her Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from Boston University School College of Fine Arts, Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and undergraduate BA in Music from Brandeis University. Jennifer lives in Denver and loves to trail run, practice yoga and spend time with her husband, teenage son, twin 9 year old girls, two dogs and two cats.
