Becoming a Musicianship in Business Ambassador means taking an active role in advancing music education through leadership, visibility, and personal experience.
MIB Ambassadors are accomplished professionals who recognize the formative role music has played in their own lives and choose to place that experience in service of Education Through Music-Colorado’s mission.
Ambassadors contribute to the life of the initiative by sharing authentic and personal content, participating in select events and gatherings, and helping expand the community by inviting or nominating peers.
The Ambassador experience is intentionally designed around a small number of meaningful touchpoints, focused on connection, shared purpose, and authentic engagement.
Ambassadors join through a nomination and invitation process. Individuals may be nominated by existing Ambassadors, express interest directly, or be invited by ETM-CO. All Ambassadors are thoughtfully selected to ensure alignment with the values, purpose, and standards of the MIB community.

Commitments
- Serve as a visible advocate for children’s access to music education, supporting ETM-CO’s mission and its goal of expanding reach to more students and schools.
- Contribute authentic, personal storytelling, supported by ETM-CO, by sharing one’s journey at the intersection of music and professional life through interviews, short written features, or shareable musical performances.
- Attend at least one ETM-CO fundraising or awareness event per year to strengthen commitment around the mission.
- Participate in at least one Musicianship in Business gathering annually, designed to foster connection, exchange, and shared experiences centered on music and leadership.
- Support the growth of the MIB community by inviting or nominating peers whose values, experience, and musicianship align with the spirit of the initiative.
