Mallory Bernstein

Mallory Bernstein’s active career has been broad in scope as a concert pianist, teacher and entrepreneur.  Her passion for making classical music more accessible for wide audiences has driven many of her artistic projects in Colorado.  She is a founding member of the Denver Art Song Project and the collaborative pianist for Opera on Tap (Colorado).  She has performed in many untraditional venues and curated concerts to connect with communities.

Mallory accompanied outreach programs in Elementary Schools with the Young Artists of Opera Colorado and the Colorado Children’s Chorale. These experiences were very inspiring and followed with an exploration of music programs in the Denver metro area.  The need for high-quality music education programs was apparent and Mallory founded Education Through Music-Colorado.  She is very excited to grow this program so that many children are provided with well-rounded educations that include music.

Recent engagements as a pianist include performances with Opera Colorado, the Playground Ensemble, Englewood Arts, the Bosetti concert series and the Five Points Chamber series.  Mallory holds degrees in Piano Performance from Ithaca College, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the University of Denver, and is on the faculty as a collaborative pianist and coach at the College Audition Advantage summer institute.  She maintained a full teaching studio of piano students in Denver for seven years.
